Animal behaviourist, founder of Animinds

Marilyn Peters is a Molecular Biologist (BSc) with a Master’s of Science (MSc) in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Marilyn is no ordinary animal behaviourist, however. She has a unique take on animal behaviour as she combines classical scientific behavioural techniques with a more holistic approach using nutrition, essential oils, flower remedies and energy healing modalities to address the physical, psychological and emotional levels of behavioural dysfunction. Animal activist, tv presenter, producer and writer

Klea Morianou is an Architect (MArch, National Technical University of Athens) with an MSc in Design & Environmental Analysis from Cornell University. She has a strong background in media on the subject of animal protection legislation, welfare and behaviour.

She is the owner of the #1 Greek Source of Pet Information website: TRIHES.GR – Guide to four-legged happiness (www.trihes.gr). She has worked in television as a producer and presenter of the animal welfare TV series Para Triha on SKAI TV (2009-2012), and in journalism as the managing editor of magazines Skylos & Gata (“Dog & Cat”, Kathimerini Publishing, 2011-2013) and GAV (“Woof”, Papageorgiou Publishing, 2002-2008).

Additionally, she writes articles in magazines and newspapers. She is an active member of the animal welfare groups “Stray.gr”, “Zo.Fi.Psy”, “Ninelives-Greece”, and was General Secretary of the PFO Animal Welfare Federation (www.pfo.gr).

She has rescued and helped rehome hundreds of stray Greek dogs and cats, and has fostered and house-trained dozens of them. At the moment she lives in Athens with her husband, two dogs and 12 cats.
